What does an evaluation consist of?
Why do I need an evaluation?
Why would the doctor order and X-ray?
The doctor may order an X-ray if he suspects that something more serious might be going on. The x-ray will allow him to make sure that no bones are out of place. The doctor very rarely orders x-rays though.
Will the doctor ask about my medical history?
He might. If it is relevant to your symptoms, the doctor may ask about your medical history in order to get the whole story about your pain. This will help him treat you more effectively.
What happens after the initial evaluation?>/b>
After the evaluation the doctor will make a treatment plan that best suits your body’s needs. He will discuss this with you and make sure that you are comfortable with it. Then you will move on to treatment.
